VERY Important Reminders!

Please remember that I will grade the TABLET PAPER ABC order on Tuesdays. The ABC "box paper" is just a TOOL to help them put the words in ABC order. They then write those on a sheet of TABLET PAPER with the heading. The tablet paper is what I grade. If your child just had the "box paper" I didn't make them stay in detention today. However, beginning next Tuesday, they will have to go to snack detention to finish their homework. If students do not bring completed homework, they go to snack detention to finish it. Also, Please remember that Tuesday is our library day. Students need to bring their library books EVERY day, but most especially on Tuesdays. We are in the process of learning our new AR program. Very few students have tested. Please do not be concerned. We got an entirely NEW AR program this year that they have to access online and we've had to work out a few bugs. The students go to a different place and log in in a different way so there has been some adjustment. We will get the hang of it soon :) We've also had a few computer issues. Just be patient and we'll get that AR ball rolling as soon as possible. I've begun the process of TPRI (Texas Primary Reading Inventory) testing, so I will be scheduling parent conferences in a couple of weeks. As always, thank you for keeping up with your child and their progress! Together we will watch your child grow and succeed!
