My Teaching Philosophy
My name is Jessica O'Brien and I am a Secondary Education and History major. I really enjoy American history the most, but I also enjoy world history. I feel that it is important for students to become aware of our nation's history, and to become involved in politics in present time. American history is a great way for students' to become aware of the  political actions in the past that will hopefully help their understanding of our nation's politics today. I love history and it is my job as an educator to share and transfer the love I have of history to my students'.
