5th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Reading Records/Book Summary due Weekly (homework) November 14, 2008 Students are to read 30 min. nightly or 180 weekly and document their time on the reading record form. See links below. Once a week students are to analyze where they are in their novels and write a brief book summary. At least one plot term describing the point in which they are reading is to be used. The plot terms are conflict, exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution/denoument. This is a weekly assignment and is due each Monday. Students: Enjoy your reading time!!!!
