Homework! It all matters? September 22, 2008 For the next three weeks, students will be thinking like a chemist as they study and make observations about the basic types of matter (solids, liquids, and gases). Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. Students will be conducting experiments and drawing conclusions on how temperature influences the changes in states or phases of matter. A study guide and vocabulary sheet will be sent home in the Thursday Fly Home folder.
