| Read aloud for a total of 30 minutes every day and get your steno book signed by the person you read to. Students are to record the title of the book they are reading, date, start and stop times, and the page numbers they start and end on. Additionally, they are to list unknown words, copy the sentence which includes the unknown word, and to write the page number of the sentence. We have reviewed the Predict/Infer, Monitor/Clarify, Question, Evaluate and Summarize strategies, so students may now write using any of these strategies as they read.
