Upcoming Stuff for Reading Recovery: Ms. Hanvey Reading Recovery is an early language arts intervention program serving first grade students. Children are identified for this program through standardized testing procedures. As a Reading Recovery teacher, I work with four Reading Recovery students, in a one-on-one setting, for 30 minutes each day. I, also, teach three Literacy Groups, consisting of 3-5 students, each day. The Reading Recovery program supplements the first grade Language Arts program by providing additional instruction in reading and writing.
