Upcoming Stuff for Homework! Homework is given on Monday and consists of word study sort, a math home link and a nightly journal writing. MATH: Home links will be sent home on Monday for the entire week. Please send in completed home links each day to be checked. WORD STUDY/LANGUAGE ARTS: - Sort words nightly (for some sort ideas please see your homework folders). - Word study tests are EVERY FRIDAY! Please study! - Complete a nightly journal prompt. Make sure all sentences begin differently and are thoughtful and imaginative. See bottom of the calendar journal as to the sentence requirement for the month. - Read nightly and have your parents sign your log. There is an incentive for every 10 books (or chapters) read. These will be checked on Friday as well. DUE DATES: - Home Links are due to Mrs. Scarborough DAILY. - Journals due FRIDAY! - Reading logs will be checked only on Friday. ___________________________________ Parents, PLEASE remember to sign your child's behavior chart daily and return.
