Welcome to Mrs. Huddleston's 5th grade math site! I am very excited to be at MUMS and am enjoying getting to know each of my students. My conference time is 12:40-1:25 each day. TAKS Practice
All students will be coming to math twice each day for the 2010-2011 school year. My schedule of classes is as follows:
1st Period 7:55-8:40: 5th Grade Math Section 1
2nd Period 8:45-9:30: 5th Grade Math Section 1
3rd Period 9:35-10:20: 5th Grade Math Section 2
4th Period 10:25-11:10: 5th Grade Math Section 2
11:15-11:45 5th Grade LUNCH
5th Period 11:50-12:35: Math Recovery
6th Period 12:40-1:25 CONFERENCE
7th Period 1:30 - 2:20: 5th Grade Math Section 2
8th Period 2:25-3:15: 5th Grade Math Section 2
Our curriculum being used is Sharon Wells and has 4 parts. Section One of the curriculum will focus on Math skills, problem solving, and review. The second section of the curriculum will be focusing on new 5th grade concepts that will prepare them to meet state standards.
