Advanced Woodworking
The students will include what they learned in the introduction course as well as new techniques to create a more challenging project.
Fine Woodworking
A challenging course where the student will learn about styles of furniture as well as creating a project that reflects a distinct style of cabinet/furniture.
House Construction
This is a course that is related to the design and construction of houses. The couse includes the intergration of building codes as well as safety requirements by OSHA. Students will demonstrate hands on construction of house framing. They will learn about interior and exterior remodeling and other related trades that are involved in the construction of a house.
Introduction to Woodworking
Student are introduced to the field of woodworking. To include the values and properties of trees, the manufacturing of lumber, personal and shop safety and the creation of wood based projects.
