Welcome to Mrs. Hegedus' website. Another year is winding down to a close. It always goes so quickly each year and the early spring weather and mild winter seemed to accelerate everything even more. Soon anothe r8th grade will walk down the aisle for graduation and the planning will begin for yet another school year.

I have been trying to give incentives to the lower grades at lunch to keep the cafeteria cleaner. If  classes clean up their trash and sit quietly before their teacher arrives they will receive 5 minutes of extra recess. A reminder is given 5 minutes before the teachers pick up. Remind your children so those extra playtimes become theirs.

On a funny note when a child from last lunch wanted to help clean up she asked if she could "broom" the cafeteria.  

Does anyone have any special stories to share about your rides to and from school? The bus can be very interesting so if you have something you would like to share send it to me and maybe I will let everyone read about it.
