| About Our PLC |
As a Professional Learning Community (PLC) we are a dedicated team of educators who work collaboratively to ensure student academic success. The Grady 8th grade PLC meets as a team to organize goals, map curriculum, formulate common assessments, and develop intervention strategies for each student.
The grade 8 PLC believes that an open line of communication with parents, family, and teachers is essential. We have scheduled a common conference time in which teachers, parents, and students can meet to discuss student progress and formulate strategies for student success. All parent / teacher conferences will be held with the PLC members. The grade 8 PLC conference time will be scheduled on Wednesday afternoons, 2:00PM - 2:30PM. Please contact Mr. M. Perez to set up a conference date.

In Grade 8, students study the history of the United States from the early colonial period through Reconstruction. Students will study how economic, social, and political characteristics shaped key events in our nation’s history.
