This is the first half of a two (2) year Regents course. You will complete the second half of the course during your 10th grade year. Your success in 9th grade Social Studies is essential to your success next year. Additionally, passing the course is imperative to graduation. This course will cover Africa, India, China, Japan, Latin America and Southeast Asia. We will discuss the geography of each region and how it has and continues to impact the movement of people and the development of culture. We will also discuss our connection to the global community through current events.
