The Fightin' Farmer Band is the premier musical organization at Farmersville High School. Our mission is to provide Music Education through instrumental performance.
The Fightin' Farmer Band is comprised of the
Farmersville High School Marching Band
Farmersville High School Concert Band
Farmersville High School Jazz Band

In addition, students are encouraged to participate in University Interscholastic League music competitions and in the various All-Region Band tryouts.

Marching Band is the most visible organization within the Department of Music at Farmersville High School. They perform at all Fightin' Farmer football games, all pep rallies, two parades, and several marching band contests each year.

The Concert Band endeavors to teach students about listening, composing, and making music through a performance medium. We give several public performances each year including a Christmas Concert and a Spring Concert as well as performances at the other campuses in the Farmersville Independent School District.

The Fightin' Farmer Jazz Band is comprised of those music students wishing to further study music and/or include the study of music in the jazz medium as part of their music education at Farmersville High School. As well as performing at various high school activities, the Jazz Band also performs for various civic organizations and their functions throughout the year.

The Farmersville Band Boosters Organization is made up of parents and interested parties who wish to help the students in the Farmersville Band program excel, go places, and and acquire equipment or supplies that become difficult to obtain because of funding.

Our regular meeting schedule is the second Tuesday of each month beginning in September.
