Sixth grade required class that introduces the student to the disciplines of Family and Consumer Sciences.

This is an introductory course into the world of Nutrition by working with food and understanding how food choices affect the way you feel, look and perform mentally, physically and emotionally.

This is an advanced level course offered only to 8th grade students after completion of Foods and Nutrition 1. Advanced skills in working with Foods is introduced and applied.
