| Our Fieldtrip to the Pumpkin Patch is fast approaching. |
Please make sure to send your child's Pumpkin Patch permission slip back in to school as soon as possible. The Preschool staff is very excited about our stopover at Princess Ann Park for lunch. The children can enjoy a Happy Meal or a lunch that you send in to school. We'll also have a few minutes to play and run around before we head back to Landstown. Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather!!!
This week we'll be finishing up our Autumn theme. The children had a terrific time on Friday when we had a fun "Leaf Hunt" using many pieces of equipment from our PT department. The children had to climb a mountain, crawl through a cave, hop across a lily pad covered stream and row a boat across a lake to get over to the other side before they could collect leaves. I was able to get pictures of all the children and will send them home later in the week. Also this week, we will be talking about Christopher Columbus and the ships that he sailed on his journey. We'll end the week with a very important lesson - Fire Safety. We'll teach the children to STOP, DROP and ROLL - all with the help of the gang from Sesame Street. We'll talk about how to keep safe at home and school and send home an informative packet of information for you to talk with your child about. Please take the time to look through it and spend some time talking about this important topic.
