The first two weeks have been great. The children seem happy to come to school and we are getting into our regular routines. We have started to have our Group Speech and Group OT sessions and will begin going to the Library on Friday, October 5th. Miss Terri is looking forward to having us return!
We are starting to plan two field trips for October - one to a Fire Safety show in mid-October and we are all very excited about our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch later in the month.
It is my hope that many of you will come to this website on a regular basis. I will be adding to it weekly and try to keep you very well informed as to what your child is doing in class and what you might do at home as reinforcement.

A great teacher is someone who sees each child as a unique person and encourages individual talents and strengths.
A great teacher looks beyond each child's face and sees into their souls.
A great teacher is someone with a special touch and a ready smile, who takes the time to listen and always tries to be fair.
A great teacher has a caring heart that respect and understands.
A great teacher is someone who can look past disruptions and recognize hurt and pain.
A great teacher teaches the entire child and helps to build confidence and raise self-esteem.
A great teacher makes a difference in each child's life and affects each family and the future of us all.
Mrs. Carey and I work hard every day and we are striving to become that "Great" teacher for each of your children. We look forward to working with you and your child this year. Together, we can do "Great" things.
