Calling all astronauts!!! Get ready to blast off into space and learn all about what is in outer space. During the next two weeks we’ll have the chance to make our own galaxy in the hallway. We’ll become Landstown’s LES – Little Explorers in Space!!! Planets, moons, comets and rockets are just a few of the topics that we’ll be talking about. We are going to be using many of those basic concepts (colors, shapes and location words) that we’ve worked with all year during our discovery of space. We’ll make a batch of fun Moon Mud (I will be sending home the recipe so that you can make it over the summer) and we’ll decorate some cosmic cookies.
So, put on your spacesuit and helmet, fasten your harness and get set for countdown: 5,4,3,2,1 we are off!!!!!
Letter of the Week “S” Our target vocabulary words are: Stars, sun, seal and sandwich.
Please remember Show and Tell on Friday. We have had outstanding participation this year. I can’t tell you all how happy I have been with this activity.
We’re down to the final few weeks of the school year. I am pleased with each and every child’s progress and hope that you, as parents, are happy with the changes that you have witnessed.
