We hope that all of our Moms had a very nice Mother's Day. The children really had a fun time painting your birdhouses that were sent home on Friday. I must share something with all of you, every one of the eight birdhouses that were completed ended up being painted that beautiful, bright pink color. Seems that was the "Color of the Week" in Room 8!!
Our second week of learning about flowers and gardens will include making a rainbow of flowers book, a fine motor activity with bees and flowers and talking a bit about growing a vegetable garden.
Our “Letter of the Week” is “R” Target Vocabulary words are: robot, rainbow, rocking horse and rocket (a lead into next week’s space theme!!)
Remember Show and Tell on Friday!!! Last week AM class was super again!! Come on PM class let’s see what you can deliver for “R”
We are quickly approaching the final weeks of the school year. It has been a fast and furious one for me and Mrs. Carey. We’ll finish the year’s theme with a two week journey into space and then our final theme will be a trip to the sea shore to learn about many creatures that live in the ocean. We’ll have our annual water day during the final couple of weeks of school . An End of School celebration is in the planning stages and I will send home more information on it as the other Preschool teachers and I decide how we are going to format that day.
