Week of February 11 - 15
updated February 10, 2008
What an “EXCITING” week we had in Room 8!!! We introduced our new theme and it seems that all the children know how important the heart shape is to the month of February. We had fun making different animals out of hearts and we learned all about the Letter “E”

This week will be just as “FABOULOUS” and fun for all. Our Letter of the Week is “F” Target vocabulary has changed from what was earlier listed on my Webpage. The words that we’ll work on are: fish, frog, fence and five. We’ll also talk about the verb “float”
We will continue to talk about Valentine’s Day and we’ll be working on a Special Project. Sorry- No further information is available!!

Our Valentine’s celebration will take place on Thursday. We’ll have time to exchange cards that have been sent in and then have a special snack. If your child is planning to take part in the exchanging of cards with classmates, please send them in on Thursday.

Don’t forget about SHOW and TELL each and every Friday. It has become a very important part of our circle time. It is my hope to achieve 100% participation with this class activity. We are very close to that, but not quite there.

PARENTS: Tell me how you like my Webpage. How often do you visit it? Do you find it as helpful or less helpful in understanding what is going on in class than the Weekly Class News document that I send home? How could I make it better? Would you like to see pictures of the children taken during the daily activities? Drop me an email and let me know what you think. This Webpage belongs to your child’s class and I would like for it to shine as bright as your child.
