NOVEMBER IS HERE!!
Where did last month go? Fall is here and the weather has really changed. Our field trip to the Pumpkin Patch went very well and I hope that you enjoyed the photos that were sent home last week. During the month of November we’ll be talking and learning about many things that are related to the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ll learn about the Pilgrims and the ship they sailed on from England. We’ll talk about how the Native peoples helped the Pilgrims after they arrived. Of course, we’ll learn all about turkeys. We have been told the “Naked Turkey” has been seen roaming the halls here at Landstown and we are hopeful we can catch him and help him find some wonderful feathers before the holiday. We’ll have a tasty “Feast” on Thursday that our friends in the Cafeteria help to make. We'll be having turkey, mashed potatoes and green beans. It is always a yummy snack time!!!
