Hello, and welcome to fourth grade! I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. Perhaps some of you visited interesting or exciting places during your vacation. Feel feel to check the photo gallery to view an interesting place that I visited this summer. Now lets prepare for another year of hard work and fun!
I am teaching Language Arts this year: Reading, Word Study, and Writing.
My site will provide you with updated information about Language Arts classroom instruction, homework, and projects such as book reports so check the site regularly. My team partner, Mr. Maybery, will teach Math and content so be sure to check his web site too.
I hope to see everyone at the Open House on Tuesday, September 18th. We will discuss the fourth grade curriculum, classroom routines, and behaviorial expectations.
Please send me an email if I can answer any questions for you or be of help in any other way.

Remember to look for the Family Times Letter at the beginning of each week. You will find valuable information about the reading story, vocabulary words, reading skill, and grammar skill. Also, there will be some fun activities for parents and children to do at home that support the concepts we are learning in the classroom.
