| Welcome to First Grade |
Hi! My name is Mrs. Price and I welcome you to our class webpage. We will use this site to keep you informed of classroom and school events. It is going to be a wonderful year of learning.
August 28, 2007
This is my thirty-fourth year as a teacher and I have been at Landstown since it opened. I love teaching 1st grade but also have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade and was a Reading Specialist. But, my true love is 1st grade and watching the children learn to read and write. I have a wonderful husband and we have three beautiful children. They are all married and have children of their own now. Our son and his wife live in Utah and have a daughter, a son, and will have another son the end of October. YEAH!!!!!! Our daughter and her husband and son live in Portsmouth and she teaches 3rd grade and her son is in 3rd grade. Our youngest daughter and her husband and 3 year old son will be moving to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa at the end of September. Our son-in-law works for the State Department so they will be there for a couple of year. My greatest joy is my family and especially our grandchildren. We try to get together as often as possible. I love to read, play the piano and am learning how to piece a quilt.
