I am starting my 34th year teaching music in the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. I retired as a full time music teacher in 2006 and taught one day at New Castle Elementary last year.
I am a proud product of Virginia Beach schools and attended Thalia Elementary, Kempsville Junior High and graduated from Princess Anne High School. I got my undergraduate degree from University of Maryland (Go Terrapins!) and received my Master's Degree from Norfolk State University.
My husband works at Kempsville Middle School and my son is a PE assistant at North Landing Elementary School. I am very imvolved in my synagogue and love to go to musicals at the theater, either here at home or especially on Broadway. I also love history and reading. AND of course singing and playing piano.
I can't wait to meet my Landstown students and their families!
