I hope all parents have noticed the change in our weekly homework calendar. The students are now writing down their own homework daily. I check each child's homework calendar and initial it daily to make sure the correct assignments have been written down. Please continue to refer to your child's homework calendar, which should be kept in his or her homework folder, for daily assignments and important reminders. This very important change in responsibilty will help prepare our second graders for third grade, which is right around the corner!
