| Spring is in the air! |
It's hard to believe that it's here already. I hope everyone is taking time to smell the flowers and enjoy these beautiful spring days.
The children and I are as we go on out to "walk and talk" everyday after lunch. That lap around the bus loop really helps to get the wigglys out and focus our minds on those last couple of hours of instruction.

Our new unit in Grammar is kinds of sentences. At the end of this unit students will be able to:
* identify and write a statement
* identify and write a question
* identify and write an exclamation

* tell time to the hour,half hour and minute.

Our next unit in Social Studies will be famous people. At the end of this unit students will be able to:
*name a famous person and tell how that person contributed to the betterment of our society.
At the end of this unit students will create a website commemorating a famous person of their choice.

Students will receive spelling lists on Mondays. We will have test on Fridays. There will be spelling homework every day (Monday through Thursday). Below is a list of each day’s assignment.
Monday: Write words 5 times each
Tuesday: Use each word in a sentence
Wednesday: Write words in ABC order
Thursday: Study for Friday’s test
