| I am Ellen Hotchkiss, and I am a special educator at Greenbrier High school. I teach an Academic Elective study skills class with an emphasis on Math remediation. I also team teach in several Math I classes, an Applied Algebra class, and an Applied Geometry class. I have been a teacher for 12 years and starting my eleventh year at Greenbrier HS. I love technology, music, reading and helping kids make it through tough times and subjects to reach their potential. |

This class works on Math remediation using Carnegie Online learning system, Math instruction and practice worksheets. The remaining time is given to administer assessment probes, extended time on tests and quizzes (as documented in IEP), discussion of generalize study skills.
