April - 1) Your student teacher, Mr. Paulson, will have instructions for you......follow them to a tee. African History Report - past due at this point, but still needed for the grade book. Tutorials and examples of Chicago Manual Style citation can be found at the hyperlink in this sentence, as well as SOURCES for research and sample papers. We are using the HISTORY or GREEN or Chicago Manual Style. Check out the links below to find the guiding questions. Grading rubric was passed out in class.
WORLD AREA STUDIES
Demonstration Presentations - May 21st
Students will select one aspect of culture from their research country to do the following. 1) Give a speech with an introduction to the culture of the country 2) Lead an activity to show the class how the aspect of culture works, the activity should be interactive. 3) Continue the speech to tell the class the description of the piece of culture, the purpose, how it is done. Please read and perform the speech expectations and demonstration presentation handouts provided in the LINKS to world area studies below. Today, show Mrs. Espe your ideas and your powerpoint picture of 7 elements of culture. Continue the research and planning process. Work due for next week is your STORY BOARD and MATERIALS LIST. |
