| Welcome Parents and Students To The Physical Education Page!! |
Hello my name is Mr. Jones and I am
very eager and excited to begin this school year!
This is my 7th year teaching at Wolf Branch Elementary School. Along with teaching I also coach 8th grade baseball, and 5th/6th grade girls basketball. (I also help coach Football at Freeburg High School).
I received my B.A degree in physical education/health/drivers education from Blackburn College. While at Blackburn I also played 4 years of NCAA football. I am currently working on my masters degree in Kinesiology from SIUE.
I live in Smithton with my wife Dawn, son Brock, daughter Bryley, and my two dogs BeeBop and Chloe.
Within our physical education program we strive to help students become better developed within the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. We will better develop these skills by introducing many locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative activities and games.
We also introduce a health aspect within our curriculum in which we help students become familiar with ideas such as hygiene, safety, and different parts of the body and their functions.
