Study of Accounting Concepts and how our daily lives are affected by Accounting (planning, recording, analyzing, and interpreting financial information). Automated Accounting is an opportunity for hands-on computer learning to help students see the connection between manual and automated accounting.

Innovative Applications Using Technology
Innovative Applications Using Technology is a project-oriented course. A team approach and the development of leadership ability are emphasized. Students expand their critical thinking, organization, communication, and technology skills. Using available technology, students will select and research a project, assimilate the data, and communicate the results. This is an applied learning course where the teacher's role is that of facilitator.

Personal Finance
Personal Finance allows the student to explore personal financial decision-making. It also helps individuals use skills in money management, record-keeping, banking, and investing. The course accomplishes this by the study of basic concepts involving economics, insurance, banking, credit, technological resources. Activities will include preparation of budgets, consumer skills, checking accounts, investment applications, comparison-shopping, advertising research, standard of living analysis, and comparison of housing options
