I earned my bachelor's and master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have taught second grade in Whitehouse for 30 years. As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I love working with children and hope that I can positively impact their lives. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Ben, for 40 years. We have three children, Travis, Ashley, and Brittany, who are all married to spouses we love. We are blessed to have 3 fabulous grandchildren and are expecting a grandson in June. I love being a Nana! In my spare time I enjoy reading, doing needlework, and shopping. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family and play with my grandchildren.
