"Take a Bite Out of Crime"
We will be watching a short video of McGruff the Crime Dog to review strategies for victims and bystanders in bullying episodes. After the video, students will have a chance to play a bingo game focusing on ways to stop bullying and meanness.

Stress Tool Kit
Design your own tool kit for testing and other stressful events. Tools for being prepared, focused relaxed and positive should be included in your kit.
Being prepared means having materials, treating your body like an athlete in training, practicing activities and bing on time.
Being focused means having your "brain on the right channel" and tuning out noises and visual distractions.
Being relaxed may include deep breathing and progressive relaxation exercises paired with using relaxing imagery.
Being positive is accomplished through "self talk" and imagery.
Practice using all the tools in your kit and remember "practice makes perfect" or at least it can help us do our best.
