| This year long course will explore the nature of the biological sciences according to facts, theories, history, phenomena, themes and applications. Students will learn essential observational, investigative, and analytical skills. Topics include the scientific method, basic chemistry in living things, ecosystems and ecology, evolution, flow of energy in living organisms, features and functions of cells, stability and homeostasis, DNA, and genetics. |
