| Donations for a New Father In Need |

Dear Citizen School Parents,
We are passing along this request on behalf of a CASE site coordinator at a Houston high school.
The coordinator is currently working with a senior at her campus that has just been accepted into SFA (Go Jacks!) and a couple other colleges. He also cares for his 3 year old brother while attending school. He had a son born 2 months ago, and the mother left the baby in his care earlier this week after deciding that she could no longer parent the child. The student was not prepared to take this on, and did not receive any of the baby’s clothing, formula, or personal items. This senior needs help to bridge the gap into his new responsibilities.
Please keep this student in mind if you know of someone (friends, family, co-workers, church members, etc.) with baby clothes they will not need, or diaper bags, etc. (the baby is a boy, and currently in Newborn 0-3 month sizes)
This is a great opportunity to do something small that will have an enormous immediate impact in the life of a student.
If you have any items you can donate, please drop them off here in the Citizen Schools office at Grady Middle School, room 103.
