FYI:
When students complete writing prompts, they are graded using a rubric. The rubric will be sent home in the Tuesday Folders, but the prompts will stay at school. Throughout the year, I will compile all prompts in a portfolio for each student. At the end of the year, I will hand back all prompts at one time, so the students may see the progress they've made and just how much work they've accomplished.
If at any time a parent or student wishes to see a particular paper, I can send it home as long as it makes its way back to school. :)
