| Welcome to the Churchland Elementary library, a happening place for our students. Students are welcome in the library anytime during the school day from 9 am to 4:00 pm. During these hours students can check books in and out, use the library catalog, and do research for class projects. Classes may be in the library for storytime or a library lesson, but students may still come to the library to get a new book during this time. |

Library Pages are students in grades 4-6 who are recommended for this position by their classroom teachers. Each student comes to the library for 30 minutes each week to assist with checking books in and out, putting books back on their shelves and keeping the shelves neat and straight.

The PTA will sponsor a Scholastic Book Fair in the library starting with a teacher preview on November 14, 2008. Students will preview the fair with their classes starting on November 17, 2008. The Book Fair will also be open before and after the PTA meeting at 7 pm on November 17.
