Greetings! For the 2009-2010 school year, I am going into my 12th year in education and my 7th year at Centennial High School as Director of Choral Activities and Guitar Studies. I have really enjoyed meeting my new students as well as the students that I have had the honor and privilege of having in my music classes in the past. The choirs are already sounding great and Beginning Guitar is off to a wonderful start. Thank you for the positive energy that you bring into my class each and every day.

Bella Voce (Treble Choir) is a 11th/12th grade womens vocal ensemble that will perform as a women's ensemble and also join with Man Choir Ch. 5 as a mixed vocal ensemble.

Man Choir Ch. 5 (A cappella Choir) is a male vocal ensemble for men grades 9th-12th grades. Man Choir Ch. 5 will perform as a male vocal ensemble and will join Bella Voce as a select mixed vocal ensemble.

Bel Canto is a women's choir grades 9th-10th. The focus of the class is to provide a student with a vocal music experience in a group setting that will allow for individual and group expression.

Lasting Impressions (Jazz Choir) is a vocal jazz ensemble for both women and men grades 10-12. Students in Lasting Impressions will also be enrolled in a vocal/instrumental ensemble as a required secondary ensemble.

Beginning Guitar is a fine arts elective for the student with little or no experience playing the guitar. Beginning Guitar meets on "B" days.

Music Awareness is a fine arts elective that will offer students opportunities to create, perform, listen to, and analyze music. We will be surveying music from diverse cultures around the world. Students will actively study how music says who we are as human beings and how we express ourselves through music.
