The dates for next school years ('13-'14) are 10/12/13, 11/9/13, 12/7/13, 1/11/14, 2/1/14, and 3/1/14. Though if you still want to play in one last tournament during the '12-'13 school year, you can play in the Blitz and Bughouse tournament and if you need more information on this tournament there is more information on it in the homework section. However, if you can't make it to this tournament then we hope to see you again next year in fall of 2013.
If you want to play chess with us we meet in the study lounge before school and during lunch. We also meet in room 104 afterschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:00.
If you are in IB, chess will count for CAS as Creativity.
End of school chess party
June 1
We will be having a end of school/grad party at Cody's house. The party will be from 2-8 pm; however, Cody's address will be handed out during school and will not be posted here. One of the reasons why we are having it so early is because both Shane and Cody have to leave town in the following week so we apologize if it is an inconvenience for you.
We will also be voting for who will be the new co-captain of the chess team alongside Cody in the 2013-2014 school year since we will have most of the team with us.
