Welcome to my classjump page that will provide information for you concerning our class! I welcome you to a great year at Whitewater High School.
The 2011 - 2012 school year promises to be one of the best. Throughout the year, I will post class notes, assignments and other important information that will help you succeed in my class. This course engages in the study of the fundamentals of the English language, as well as the study of literature, and grammar. Students will gain a deeper understanding. It is a comprehensive course in which students will be involved in the writing process, and the analysis and interpretation of literature.  past

The Odyssey
April 30 - May 22
The Odyssey This is our last unit. Power Point presentation of background information to The Iliad. This will prepare students to begin World Literature for the 10th grade.
Begin reading The Odyssey in class. Students will follow along answering comprehension questions. Quizzes to be announced as we move through the novel. No projects/papers will be required for this unit. |
