Welcome to Homeroom 6 Blue and Middle School Science.  I am looking forward to a great year!

We will study life science.  The topics include microorganisms and fungi, as well as environmental science.

We will study physical science.  The topics include sound and matter.

In health, we will study tobacco, alcohol, and drugs.  We will also study infectious and noninfectious diseases. (Once a week.)

We will study earth science all year.  We will study volcanoes, earthquakes, astronomy, weather, etc.

In health, we will study health and wellness, successful decisions and goals, and building self-esteem.  We will also study physical fitness and nutrition, and discuss healthy bodies and weights. (Once a week.)

This year we will focus on life science and physical science. We will begin the year with life science (cells, heredity, etc.) and end the year with physical science (atoms, machines, elements, etc.)

In health, we will study stress management, mental and emotional health.  We will also study about the stages of life, adolescent growth and development, building responsible relationships and conflict management.  (Once a week.)
