Welcome to another great year at Whitewater High School! This year will be one of the best yet! Success is in your mind. If you are afraid of mathematics, then you are in the right place. I will do my very best to quell that fear and maybe turn it into a feeling of satisfaction and triumph. Remember, I am here to help you (not available Monday or Wednesday mornings) and I cannot do that unless you tell me any problems you are having. This is the second course in sequence of courses designed to prepare students to take Advanced Placement Calculus.  It includes right triangle trigonometry, exponential, logarithmic, and higher degree polynomial functions, matrices, linear programming, vertex-edge graphs, conic sections, planes and spheres, population means, standard deviations, and normal distributions.  (Prerequisite: Successful completion of Accelerated Math 1 or Math 2.)

This is the second course in a sequence of courses designed to provide students with a rigorous program of study in mathematics.  It includes: complex numbers, quadratic, piecewise, and exponential functions, right triangles, and right triangular trigonometry, properties of circles, and statistical inference. (Prerequisite: Successful completion of Math 1.)
