| The four-year-old program is the starting point for your child's introduction to a public school setting. It is filled with a variety of learning activities that will help your child grow socially, physically, and intellectually. Many of these learning experiences may look like play, but they are really very carefully planned learning experiences. Through these experiences, children acquire the readiness skills for reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, art, and music. They also develop positive attitudes toward group tolerance, sharing, and cooperation. |
