IB Environmental Systems and Societies is the first year of a two-year course.k The purpose of this course is to understand the issues facing the Earth and to reflect on our participation in the natural world. As world citizens it is important that we evaluate different viewpoints and balance risks and benefits as part of informed decision making.

This physics course is designed to prepare students for success in college course work and, more importantly, to spark their curiosity in the workings of the natural world.
