Each new year I re-remember that universal public education and freedom of speech are the cornerstones of our free society. I am so happy to be a part of such a grand plan, as an American educator. This course follows an approved national College Board approved syllabus. See College Board website. Summer reading is required. Dual Credit option is available through Crowder College. This class fulfills one of the 4 Language Arts credits required for high school graduation.  It includes practice in writing skills needed for post-high school career or education.  Survey of English/world literature is covered.
