6th Graders taking art will have fun learning about new artists, media and techniques of art while focusing on the elements and principles of design. Drawing, painting, ceramics and art history.

Students taking Studio Art will further explore the elements and principles of design while sharpening media skills and learning about art of different cultures. Stuio art focuses on experimentation with new art media such as skratch board and printmaking. Other studio projects include drawing, painting, ceramics and craft art.

Advanced art students will study many different artists and techniques of making art while working towards building a portfolio for high school. Media includes drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, collage, printmaking and more. Advanced art is for the highly motivated creative student interested in continuing in art through high school. Students will participate in Rodeo Art and Vase competitions.
