updated May 18, 2012 Hi Due to a mild winter we have an extended Memorial Day weekend. No school Fri.,Mon. Tues. See you again on Wednesday May 30th. 
HOMEWORK/ INFORMATION
Our reading selection is Shrinking Mouse. Test is Wednesday. The selection test is on Thursday.
Spelling words for this week are: reached, fields, read, sea, piece, leaf, before, off, our, come, right. High Frequency words are in bold print. Please keep reviewing previous spelling words as well as all the High Frequency words each night. Spelling test this week is on Thursday
In math the children will continue with Geometry. They will identify open/closed figures, plane figures, and congruent figures. Added this week are: symmetry, slide and turn of a figure, as well as solid figures. We will add probability to the list of skills.
In Religion we will learn that the church and its members- apostles/ disciples/ pope/ priests love and care for us.
In Social Studies we discuss things we talk about jobs, service, goods and volunteering. - We continue our study of economy
Science we will continue our unit on Living Things.
