Advanced Art
Advanced art students will study many different artists and techniques of making art while working towards building a portfolio for high school. Media includes drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, collage, printmaking and more. Advanced art is for the highly motivated creative student interested in continuing in art through high school. Students will participate in Rodeo Art and Vase competitions.
Intermediate Art 7th and 8th Grade
Students taking Intermediate Art will further explore the elements and principles of design while sharpening media skills and learning about art of different cultures. Intermediate art focuses on experimentation with new art media such as yarn painting and printmaking. Other studio projects include drawing, painting, ceramics and craft art.
6th Grade Art
Attention Parents! Make sure your child is prepared, all students must have their art journal, pencil and an eraser every day!

6th graders taking art will have fun learning about new artists, media and techniques of art while focusing on the elements and principles of design. Draw from real life using graphite pencil. Learn color mixing basics and how to apply paint and get results you want. Sculpture, colored pencil and much more!
