On to another excellent  week in KRed!  This week we will meeting  Mr. Qq with his question mark shirt and hair and  Ms. Jj  with her jingle bell jacket!     Students will be identifying and forming the letters Qq and Jj, sorting and classifying objects, making inferences to understand a story,  identifying  and discriminating between Qq  and Jj and blending, reading  and writing  short a, e, i, o, and u words.    Our new  sight word this week is "of",  please review all sight words we have learned nightly. We will  read a new readable this week called " Jen and Yip", the readable will come home next  Friday so ask your child to read it to you, you will be impressed!    In Math we will be identifying groups of 13-20, reading and writing numbers 13-20, counting and completing groups of 21-31 objects and writing the numbers 21-31.   In Religion we are celebrating that Jesus is our friend.     In Science we are finishing our unit on plants and some of our seeds have started  to sprout !  In Social Studies we will be learning about careers .  What an exciting week for our little Gators!  Wait until next week, it only gets better!
