Hi ya’ll!
I am Ms. Isenhour and this is my 5th year here at Condit. I started teaching in the fall of 1977 in Indiana as a Kdg.& Music 1-6 teacher. Can you do the math and figure out how long I have been teaching? (That’s right, I am beginning my 31st year of teaching!) I taught in Indiana for 20 years with the same school district. After the first 3 years of the Kdg/Music split I began teaching 4th grade. I moved to Texas and taught 6th grade reading for a year, then back to the 4th grade. My move to Nebraska gave me experience at both the 5th grade and 3rd grade levels. Since moving back to Texas I have remained at the 5th grade level teaching Math here at Condit.
I have a daughter, 17, who is a senior at Taylor Katy High School. After graduation in May she plans to begin her Nursing degree and become an RN. We are busy with college applications, letters of recommendation, essays for grants and scholarships, and etc. It will be a busy year for us! I also have a pet dog named Freckles. She is a border collie and very special to my family.
I look forward to working with all my students and their families this year. Fifth grade is a very exciting year and will be the best experience yet here at Condit!!
