Mrs. Pete's Bio
updated January 22, 2009
Biographical Data:

Paula Phillips-Pete is a product of HISD. She was born in East Bernard, Texas, but is a native Houstonian. She attended HISD schools in advanced classes and at graduation was awarded a full scholarship of the Jesse Jones- Mary Gibbs scholarship fund, thus relieving her parents of a huge college expense! She attended Texas Southern University, University of Houston and University of St. Thomas to earn her various degrees and endorsements. Condit has been the only teaching site for her 22 years of teaching. She has taught all grades, but grade 4. She is married to Minister Lawrence Pete of nearly 15 years. In her spare time, she is a member of her church mass choir and Youth Ministry along with her husband. She also loves to sing, organize, bake, and plan activities for her huge family base of 43 immediate family members. During the summer, you will find her cruising the waters of the land re-charging for each new school year.
