WELCOME to Middle School Language Arts!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

I would like to welcome you and your child to my Language Arts classroom.  I am excited to partner with you in the continuing education of your son/daughter.  I have high expectations that this will be an incredibly successful year for all students.  Middle School has long been the stepping-stone to many exciting and rewarding experiences for students; this year is already proving to be full of activity.

This year your child will be embarking on an exciting journey through the world of Language Arts and Reading.  I will act as their guide to the short stories, novels, and various writing projects that they will encounter throughout the school year.  I work diligently to make my classroom fun and highly interactive.  Your student will do their part by putting forth 110% to every classroom meeting.

I encourage that students and parents visit the classrooms bulletin board bi-weekly to check for homework assignments, upcoming activities, and other relevant information. If you have any questions or concerns about your child s progress, feel free to e-mail me at 9442752@dadeschools.net and eca.kjohnson@gmail.com.

Sincerely

Ms. Kandance Johnson
